At ITB Berlin 2011, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), supported by ITB Berlin, will be hosting a number of activities designed to raise the profile of the Silk Road tourism.
Outbound tour operators are invited to attend the Silk Road B2B Tour Operators’ Networking Event on Thursday 10 March 2011, where they can meet with leading Silk Road tour operators to explore new business opportunities and discuss:
- Visas, border crossings and travel facilitation
- New and traditional Silk Road itineraries
- Overcoming accommodation and transportation gaps in remote areas
- Linking the Silk Road to Europe
