Starting now, we will be showcasing various hotels in Berlin in random order for your preparation for the ITB 2009. Today’s feature is Hotel Otto:

Initially the Hotel Westerland, it was built in 1965 and opened in the ’70s.
In 2006, the building was bought by the Haas Brothers and management was taken over by Rita Müller. Fall 2007 was the beginning of extensive renovation and reconstruction, which were completed in spring 2008.
Situated between Savigny- and Ernst-Reuter-Square and being close to Kurfürstendamm, the house enjoys an optimal location in the center of Berlin.

Hotel Otto is a privately run house of the bed-and-breakfast type, with a weekly changing buffet taking place in the 7. story, overlooking Berlin’s rooftops.
The establishment encompasses a total of 45 rooms with 16 doubles, 6 studios with integrated kitchen, 22 Comfort Double Rooms and a suite with its own roof patio. Rooms are equipped with flatscreen TV, telephone and bathroom with shower / bath tub. Free W-Lan access is offered throughout the whole hotel, as is a selection of daily newspapers in the morning, and fresh organic fruit. Parking space in the center of Berlin is being provided through the parking lot or underground garage.
The hotel emphasizes personalized service, tailored to each individual guest. „We want our guests to feel at home. Every guest is being cared for individually here“, said Rita Müller.
