The Mövenpick Hotel, Hanoi, with its 154 rooms and suites, will be opening this December as Hanoi’s newest Five-Star boutique hotel.
The hotel is especially convenient for business people, as it is located in the immediate vicinity of the newest office complexes and numerous embassies.
Built in colonial style, the building is characterized by the country’s French history, while at the same time harmonically integrating modern design and Vietnamese influences.

Notable features in particular are the creative restaurant concepts and the fitness area with integrated massage rooms, as well as rooms specifically designed to cater to female executives. These rooms distinguish themselves by additional make-up mirrors and a more extensive range of cosmetics in the bathrooms.

Strong emphasis is being placed on the personal care of the guests, who will appreciate the intimate atmosphere of the lobby and the hotel in general.

Managing the new house in Vietnam is Knuth Kiefer, born 1971 in Karlsruhe, Germany, where he grew up and later completed his apprenticeship as management assistant in hotel and hospitality in Karlsruhe’s Mövenpick Hotel. After managing the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cologne, he returned to Mövenpick, this time in Beijing, China.
For over 17 years now, Knuth Kiefer has worked in various cities and countries.
The hotel manager’s stations so far have included Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Manila and now Hanoi.
