21 new top hotels and luxury hotels in the pipeline
Tourism is a growth industry worldwide – especially in Croatia. The very scenic European country on the Adriatic Sea records up to 3.5 percent more overnight stays every year. The necessary investments in new hotels and resorts are enormous: After 5.5 billion US dollars in the past 15 years another 2.2 billion US dollars will flow into new hotel buildings alone in the next five years, this is what the renowned real estate consultancy Horwath HTL predicts.
Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts is pleased to announce the signing of a management agreement with Huizhou Xiyuan Tourism Investment Company Limited to manage a 350-room luxury international resort in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, China. The number of international tourist arrivals grew by 4% in the first half of 2015 according to the latest UNWTO World Tourism Barometer. Destinations worldwide received some 538 million international tourists between January and June 2015, an increase of 21 million compared to the same period of 2014.

To mark Mexico Year 2016 in Germany, airberlin and the Mexican Tourist Office in Germany have launched a joint sales and marketing initiative for the first time. Their common objective is to encourage more Germans to take their holidays in Mexico, and particularly in Cancún, the gateway to the Mayan World. Germany’s second largest airline has been operating flights to the coastal city on the Yucatán Peninsula since 2012, and has been able to increase capacity by 30 percent since adding the route to its schedule.
