Petul Hotelbetriebs GmbH has its roots on the German Island of Föhr, where in 1993 the thatched-roof farmhouse of Friesenhof Peters was turned into a guesthouse and apartment hotel. Six years later, remodeling was begun on the company’s main establishment, the Petul Hotel in Stoppenberg, a district of the German city of Essen, followed by its opening and the concurrent establishment of Petul Hotelbetriebs GmbH in 2003.

If the numbers are anything to go by, INDABA 2011 is adding up to be yet another successful instalment of Africa’s leading travel and tourism trade exhibition. Building on the legacies of the phenomenal success of the 2010 event, this year’s show will focus on celebrating a record year of tourism growth and unpacking the new goals set for the tourism industry “We have always maintained that INDABA is far more than just a four-day event,” comments SA Tourism CEO, Thandiwe January-McLean.

M.I.C.E. Matters and Seoul Tourism Organization create a unique, customized incentive trip

One of the highlights of the Nu Skin Southeast Asia Ruby and Leaders Success Trip to Seoul was the half day team building program ‘Seoul Fun Team Discovery’.  On April 17^th, 166 Nu Skin executives took off in a race around Seoul to the KimChi School, Namsangol Hanok Village, and Cheonggye Stream.  The special incentive trip was organized by M.I.C.E. Matters, Singapore, with local support and assistance from the Seoul Tourism Organization (STO).

The AirAsia X D708 Charity Flight with Sir Richard Branson which was scheduled to depart London Stansted for Kuala Lumpur on May 1, 2011 has been rescheduled to 4 July 2011. The change was made to help address the growing difficulty of obtaining accommodation in and flights into London brought about by the increase in the number of people visiting London over the long bank holiday weekend and Royal Wedding.

The first two days are for trade only. ITE & MICE this year draws some 650 exhibitors from around 50 countries and regions from different parts of the World, and occupy, as last year, 5 halls of HKCEC.
