HANSE SAIL ROSTOCK awaits over 217 ships from 12 nations for the first weekend of August – including the German sailing school ship “Gorch Fock”. One of the highlights will be a shark trawler regatta on the 5th of August.

FAIRMONT will open the luxury “Fairmont Pacific Rim” with 377 rooms and 175 condos in the Canadian town of Vancouver in the first quarter of this year, including its own spa brand Fairmont Willow Stream.

REZIDOR plans to open a resort in the Moroccan town of Tangier this year. It will occupy an area of 2.7 hectare and comprise 155 rooms, including 17 suites and a business center with meetings space.

The KOCHOLYMPIADE (Chef’s Olympics) will again be held in Thuringen, Germany. 1,600 chefs from 53 countries are expected to attend the event.

FAIRMONT will re-open the luxury hotel The Savoy with 268 rooms this summer after a two-year renovation.
