Tourism Australia is launching its new global ‘There’s Nothing Like Australia’ brand platform today via agency M&C Saatchi, Sydney, with ‘Come and Say G’day’, a new multi-market, mass awareness campaign inviting international travellers to plan and book an unforgettable trip to Australia. The campaign introduces the world to new Brand Ambassador, Ruby, a souvenir kangaroo who is brought to life with CGI animation and is unmistakably Australian. Ruby, voiced by Australian actress and Tourism Australia’s Global Ambassador, Rose Byrne, was unveiled earlier this month as she hopped across billboards around the world in anticipation for the launch.

Local Knowledge Leaders Attracting International Conferences
Bangkok was ranked in the top position in Asia-Pacific for its ability to leverage its knowledge leaders in international associations to attract international conventions, according to GainingEdge.
GainingEdge, a consulting firm in international conferences, released its latest report on “Leveraging Intellectual Capital”. The report shows that Bangkok has local knowledge leaders assuming positions in the boards of 194 international associations and they can attract 123 international conferences of the associations to their city.
