HolidayPirates new international HQ in Berlin now serves as the central hub around which the company can rally as it continues to grow and deploy new initiatives. After spending the last 1.5 years in the shared workspace WeWork, the strength of the business now allows for a dedicated international headquarters more befitting the pirate life. The company has embraced agile collaboration and the new headquarters is at the heart of the ‘hub and spoke model’ supporting the company’s hybrid work policy.

Airbnb has announced an agreement to become the Official Hosting partner of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023. The Special Olympics World Games is expected to attract more than 300,000 spectators to the city from around the world, as well as around 7,000 athletes from 190 nations and territories. Airbnb and the Special Olympics are encouraging locals from Berlin to welcome the influx of visitors and become a part of the Games while earning additional income.
