Since last February Students at bbw University of Applied Sciences in Berlin produce in a study-group the TV-Magazine ” Inside Travelmag“. They combine the courses of studies (Business Sciences with the specialization – Media Management/ – Tourism and Event Management – B.A.) with Tourism. Together with the support of the advisor Joachim Fischer, who is the publisher and editor-in-chief of the onlinemagazine “Tourism-Insider”, they produce a monthly onlineTV- magazine in the form of an online broadcast lasting approximately half an hour.
This magazine is not for the normal traveler – it should be a high level information for the executives in the global Tourism & MICE Industry.

In the first issues the Themes and Interviewpartner are the Carlson Rezidor Hotelgroup with Oliver Harnisch and Willem van der Zee, Dr. Andreas Karsten ( CEO Vienna International, Vienna),Nopparat Maythaveekulchai (TCEB President Thailand), Darren Ng ( GM TTG Asia, Singapore), Charo Trabado (GM MITM Euromed, Madrid), Steen Jacobs ( Präsident DCEB, Dubai) and many more.
The magazine is called “Inside TravelMag” and reports on both international tourism and anything interesting happening in Berlin. It presents companies, countries, destinations and provides the spectators an insight behind the curtain. On April, 1st, 2014 they published the first edition broadcast successfully on the YouTube-page, via Tourism-Insider (in 143 countries) and afterwards on the homepage and Facebook-page of our University. The students have also a own Inside Travelmag-Facebook page

In 2007, the “Educationgroup of the economy in Berlin and Brandenburg (bbw) founded a private university in response to the rise in the demand for well-qualified academic professionals. The school has grown quickly since then and has now established itself as the second-largest private institution of higher education in the region with currently over 1000 students.
