Sophisticated Italian lifestyle was the order of the day during the opening of the I LOVE IT fair at the Diplomat Hotel Prague Some 650 prominent representatives from the worlds of business, media and politics followed the invitation to the opening of the I LOVE IT fair at the Diplomat Hotel Prague and experienced an authentic Italian evening. After a few words of welcome by Pasquale D’Avino, the Italian ambassador in Prague, and Mathieu Rouri, General Manager of the Diplomat Hotel, the more than 80 Italian exhibitors were ready to give visitors a foretaste of what the fair had to offer.

The many fashion highlights, wine and coffee samples, and Italian cuisine were a delight for the guests. A special highlight was the live cooking show by the two Michelin-starred top Italian chefs Federico Delmonte und Errico Recanati, who offered many practical tips for preparing a fantastic risotto with apples and the finest Italian ham. They were invited by owner of famous Italian restaurants Aromi and La Finestra in Prague, Riccardo Lucque. The evening was moderated by famous Czech TV presenter Markéta Mayerová.
The impressive guests list included delegates from the National Confederation of Artisans (CNA) and the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMIC), numerous representatives from Czech media such as Jitka Fürst of radio station Evropa 2 and the editors-in-chief of Marianne, Gentlemen and Glanc magazines, as well as representatives of Slow Food Prague.
