Over 150,000 visitors and counting since opening
Two highly successful exhibitions at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel are extending their runs until March 31, 2013 – Titanic The Exhibition and The Human Bodies Exhibition. Both exhibitions – originally scheduled to end on February 24, 2013 – have been very popular since opening on October 25, 2012, with over 150,000 visitors to date.

“The Venetian Macao is very pleased to see how appealing these two extraordinary exhibitions have been,” said Brendon Elliott, Vice President of Sales and Resort Marketing, Venetian Macau Limited. “Over 90 per cent of surveyed guests stated that the exhibitions increased the attractiveness of Macao as a travel destination – an assessment that remained true across the entire spectrum of visitor demographic, regardless of place of origin, gender, age and purpose of visit.”
A majority of visitors to the exhibitions were overnight visitors to Macao, and over 60 per cent of visitors said that exhibition events are very important for Macao.
“The Venetian hopes the diversity of events and exhibitions we bring to Macao help elevate the city’s status as a world centre of tourism and leisure,” added Elliott.
