Since it was opened in 2009.

I was General Manager at the Sonesta in Sharme el Sheikh.
3. How did the hotel get its name?
It was named after the daughter of the owner.
4. How many rooms do you have?
We have 294 rooms and 10 villas.
5. How large is the hotel staff?
We employ 320 people in total.
6. Do you have your own restaurants and bars at the hotel?
Yes, we have 3 restaurants and 4 bars.
7. What makes your destination unique?
The sea, white, powdery sand – the Caribbean in Egypt.
8. What countries do your guests come from?
Most of our guests come from Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, generally many from Europe and Egypt.
9. Are you or the owner planning to open additional hotels around the world?
Yes, that is the plan – and cruises on the Nile, as well.
10. How can guests from Germany/ Europe reach your hotel the fastest?
The best route would be via Alexandria or via Zurich, Milan, Rome and soon Berlin.
11. Do you offer your guests any special services?
Butler service in all villas, as well as highly exclusive service for all of our guests.
12. What is the percentage of returning guests?
Round about 30%.
13. What is the “must see” in your region?
When you are here, you should visit Aguiba Beach, the Siwa desert and the fascinating white city of Marsa Matrouh with its Libyan bazaar.
14. What is the “must do” of the region?
Recreation in the pearl on the Mediterranean with wonderful weather and climate all year round.

We serve organic food which is grown here and which we are famous for. Also the best olives, olive oil, figs, and fruits such as apricots, oranges, and lemons, as well as herbs, from which we make honey and jams that are served to our guests at our breakfast buffets.
16. Were you satisfied with your visit to ITB?
Yes, we were very satisfied. We wanted to give Europeans a chance to better get to know the future destination of Marsa Matrouh.
17. What is your opinion on the promotional campaign by the Egyptian Tourism Minister?
The new promotional campaign for Egypt is good, it suits me!
