Accompanying the topping out ceremony of the new Meininger Berlin Hauptbahnhof, Stiftung Warentest rated the Meininger hotels as recommendable in its recently published issue on “Good Value Stays”, with an overall rating of “Good” (2.2). The rating “Excellent” was not awarded.
Stiftung Warentest assessed room furnishing, breakfast, information and booking options via Internet, as well as further services and public areas.
Rooms, living and sleeping areas and sanitary facilities all scored a straight “2“. A rating of “Good” was also given for breakfast, company information and service within the establishments. Booking options via Internet were even given a score of 1.8.

The new 300-room property Meininger Berlin Hauptbahnhof is the fifth and largest property owned by the Meininger Group in Berlin. Three additional properties are scheduled to open in German metropolises by summer 2010, all of them sharing the Meininger characteristics: high price performance ratio, centrally located and with the signature Meininger atmosphere. In other words: Guests at Meininger hotels are well accommodated in Berlin (5 properties), London, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and Vienna at rates starting from 19€.
