At the anniversary gala of trade journal Top hotel, which took place at Sofitel Munich Bayerpost and was moderated by Werner Schulze-Erdel, 21 year old BA student Saskia Winkler from Kempinski Grand Hotel Heiligendamm was nominated as „Top hotel Beauty 2008“.

For the third time, Germany’s renowned hotel trade journal searched for the most beautiful hotel employees from the German-speaking region. 134 applications were received for the „Top hotel Beauty Award 2008“, from which the jury – consisting of the management of the publishing company and the organizers of the Düsseldorf exhibition „Beauty International“ – preselected 15 candidates. Subsequently, the readers of Top hotel had the opportunity to select their seven favorites via mail or internet. The most votes went to Saskia Winkler from Kempinski Grand Hotel Heiligendamm.

The 21-year-old winner is working for the luxury hotel in the areas of service, reception and controlling and is at the same time studying tourism economics / hotel management at the vocational academy Breitenbrunn. As hobbies, Saskia Winkler, wo hails from Amtsberg, Erzgebirge, mentions laughing, foreign countries and her job. As winner of the „Top hotel Beauty Awards 2008“, she can look forward to a dream weekend at Adlon Kempinski Berlin and a professional photo shoot with the renowned hotel photographer Dirk Holst.

„Top hotel“ is the renowned trade journal for hotel management in Germany. The magazine is released ten times a year by Freizeit-Verlag Landsberg, an affiliate of the publishing group Handelsblatt (VHB) starting January 1, 2009. Its total circulation amounts to over 20,000 copies.
