CarLoft rooms, rooftop terraces and cocooning:b’mine hotels sets a new benchmark for the hotel industry. The end of summer 2019 will see the very first b’mine hotel opening its doors in Düsseldorf. This innovative new hotel chain is introducing a first-of-its-kind concept: Special CarLifts will transport guests and their cars directly to the hotel room door. Booking as well as check-in and check-out will be completely digitalized.
Design and service offer place the b’mine hotels straight into the premium segment. The ‘home away from home’ concept is to provide maximum ease and comfort for both business and leisure travellers. A total of ten hotels are scheduled to open over the next eight years.

Together with the car to your room

Beginning in late summer 2019, the very first b’mine hotel will be welcoming its guests to Düsseldorf’s trendy, up-and-coming Flingern district – offering some unique benefits. CarLifts will allow guests to drive a car straight to the door of one of the 26 CarLoft rooms, each of which will also feature a charging facility for electric cars. Searching for a parking space and charging point will be a thing of the past. Private CarLoggias – parking spaces outside each room – provide outstanding protection and shelter for cars. Project developers have already implemented the CarLoft concept at other sites. The b’mine hotels will now pioneer the offer of these easily accessible and comfortable CarLoggias to hotel guests.

Design where every detail counts
With or without a car, guests can enjoy outstanding benefits during their stay. All 202 rooms have been appointed and furnished under a holistic design concept comprising visual, haptic and acoustic elements, created by renowned Berlin-based architects neikes Architekturen. All rooms feature curtains, intended to provide a cosy, safe-haven feel – the ‘cocooning’ effect. Each part of a b’mine hotel is conceived as a ‘home away from home’ – from the ground floor welcome lobby to the top floor lounge. The top floor also features an open space loft with a bar and restaurant. These are an integral part of the rooftop with its several decks and terraces. Guests are guaranteed a unique view of the city. Top chefs and renowned bartenders are a given for a culinary hotspot, positioning the b’mine hotels as a sought-after my place to b’ among guests as well as locals. The ground floor also features a coffee shop and bistro, serving among other things breakfast-on-the go for residents and walk-in visitors.

Digital check-in, real comfort
In addition to CarLifts and ground-breaking design and catering, b’mine hotels will pioneer the digitalization of their service offer. After booking online, guests can use their smartphones to check in or out and to access their rooms. Direct, 24/7 communication via chatbot will also be available. Optimum mobile coverage and high-speed WiFi are essential for digitalization to become an integral, industry-wide part of the concept from the very beginning. Digital service access is of course an optional extra. Guests will be able to access all services without a digital device, if they wish. Complementing its service offer, each b’mine hotel will feature an attractive fitness and wellness area.

An event venue second to none
An event area will be a central feature of all b’mine hotels. The Düsseldorf site will have a special venue on the top floor for events, meetings and conventions. The CarLifts allow for vehicles and machinery of up to 4.9 tonnes to be brought up to the largest event room – making it ideal for sales presentations or product launches. Floor-to-ceiling windows and terraces offer spectacular views of the city. Varying room sizes and furnishings also make the venue an attractive proposition for private functions.

A second b’mine hotel is scheduled to open in Frankfurt am Main’s new Gateway Gardens district in late 2020.
