As in previous years, we have prepared some interesting projects and events for our readers of the Tourism- Insider in 2017. Besides the national events, we are planning some international meetings which you could be a part of. „The Golden Citygate“: The international touristic film- print- and multimedia competition “The Golden Citygate” will take place for the 17th time at ITB Berlin. Multimedia-Award „The Golden Citygate“
The President of the multimedia competition, Wolfgang Jo Huschert, will open the 17th edition of the award ceremony at the Palais am Funkturm on March 9, 2017. Together with numerous celebrities from the international tourism industry the coveted trophies in gold, silver and bronze, as well as the DIAMOND AWARD were given live on stage of the “Golden Citygate” to the winners of the competition. Decision makers and market experts of the entire industry have the unique opportunity to see the best, worldwide produced tourism films of the year 2016/17, as well as their creative and innovative implementation. Countries, cities, hotels and other tourism companies can benefit directly from the selection of the jury.
More than 1,600 films and contributions have been judged and shown until today by the 40 independent jurors, which are following a strict point system.
