Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) was recently presented with the Top Choice Award – Airline Category at the ceremony of the “2016 People’s Choice Awards Thailand Voted by Chinese Tourists” held at the Royal Bangkok Sports Club.
Presiding over the award ceremony were H.E. Mrs. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul (right), Minister of Tourism and Sports, and Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn (left), Governor of Tourism Authority.
At the ceremony hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), H.E. General Tanasak Patimapragorn (second from right), Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand presented to THAI President, Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira (second from left) the Top Choice Award in the Airline category.

Chinese who have travelled to Thailand were invited to vote via website during June 2016, where more than 3.2 million people took part in the voting in 17 categories.

THAI operates 67 flights per week to six destinations in People’s Republic of China – Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xiamen, Kunming, and Guangzhou.
