Nopparat Maythaveekulchai, President of Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) congratulated and presented the award to the six winners of TCEB’s domestic online marketing campaign “Thailand MICE Venues Vote Awards 2014”. In this special occasion, Sarita Chintakanond, Director of Information Technology, TCEB also extended her congratulations to the winners.After being opened for general public online vote in Thailand from 1-30 September 2014, the campaign received an overwhelming response with more than 50,000 online votes and generated more than 14 million online impressions.
This campaign was aimed to find the most outstanding MICE venues in Thailand for six categories. The venues with the highest number of votes will receive a trophy and an online badge award “Thailand MICE Venues Vote Awards 2014” to guarantee the readiness and capability for hosting MICE events. The winner for each of the six categories are as follow:

1. Adventure – Pangam Resort

2. History & Culture – Chiang Mai International Convention and Exhibition Center

3. Authentic Experiences – Play La Ploen Boutique Resort & Adventure Camp

4. Green Awareness – Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa

5. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) – Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa

6. Luxury – IMPACT Arena Exhibition and Convention Center

This online marketing campaign has successfully built awareness of the readiness and capability of Thai MICE venues through online channels. It has also inspired meeting planners to organized more MICE events in Thailand.
