Park Hyatt Saigon is pleased to announce that Jan-Hendrik Meidinger is the new General Manager of the hotel. Jan-Hendrik, a German national, graduated from the University of Surrey’s Hotel and Tourism Management programme and joined Hyatt in 1999 as the Assistant Front Office Manager at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. Building his career in the Rooms Division, he rose to Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms, before being named Hotel Manager of Grand Hyatt Taipei in 2006. He then moved to Hyatt Regency Guam in 2010 as General Manager.
Jan-Hendrik is a true “achiever” who prioritises and does what is best for the business and associates, and he will be a great asset to the hotel. “Since opening, Park Hyatt Saigon has received numerous accolades from international travel and hospitality publications and the hotel is constantly ranked high for its service. We are confident that Jan-Hendrik will continue to focus strongly on guest service and the attention to detail that is essential to operating a Park Hyatt and giving pleasure to its many discerning guests,” said Willi Martin, Area Vice President, Southeast Asia.
