The Rezidor Hotel Group started into financial year 2014 full of energy, efficiency, and creativity. More than 180 European General Managers and Sales Manager of the brands Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson met in the Radisson Blu Hotel of Berlin for three days (January 13 – 15, 2014) for ‘Sales Meeting 3.0’. The goal of the assembled leadership of the continuously expanding hotel group: strengthen and expand the market position and economic success in central Europe.
“Since the first Kick-Off meeting in the beginning of last year, our highly motivated team has achieved profitable business results”, reports Willem van der Zee, Area Vice President Area Central Europe at Rezidor and responsible for a total of 81 hotels in ten countries. “This successful economic phase has given the three-day program in the capital even more momentum and strengthened our international internal network. In this vibrant upward trend we have made yet another step forward and continued to develop the talents of our employees.”
Qualifying trainings were offered in creative workshops and presentations, which convey the latest knowledge in the industry. More than 1,000 speed dates of about a quarter hour each promoted communication and networking. The groundbreaking ‘Sales Meeting 3.0’ was accompanied by elements of the innovative conferences ‘Experience Meetings’ and ‘Smart Meetings and Events’ of the brand Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson. Just like regular conference guests who book their meetings in the houses of the hotel group, the Rezidor managers used the complementary internet, coffee breaks, and lunches with fresh smart food or brain food cuisine.
Willem van der Zee, Area Vice President Central Europe, also announced three further persons as reinforcement of the Frankfurter headquarters of the hotel group: Dirk von Bassewitz takes his role as Area Director eCommerce Central Europe, Maike Buggle is the new Area Human Resources Director Central Europe, and Thomas Bauer will reinforce the team in the function of Area Director of Procurement Central Europe.
