Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB) in partnership with the Commission of the City of Kuching North (DBKU) has secured the 13th Asia Pacific Orchid Conference and Show (APOC) to be held in 2019. The winning bid was a collaborative effort between local hosts: DBKU, Orchidwoods Company, Commercial Orchid Growers Association of Malaysia (COGAM), Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), the Malaysian Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and the Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB).

Two of Thailand’s top state enterprises involved in promoting travel and tourism have joined forces to boost the number of air travellers to the kingdom and meet the national objective of better spreading the benefits of tourism nationwide.
Mr Suraphon Svetasreni, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Mr. Pongsak Semson, Vice Chairman and Acting Managing Director, Airports of Thailand PLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will see the two organisations pool their resources to achieve a broad level of tourism promotion goals.

The Board of Directors of Accor that convened on August 27, 2013, chaired by Philippe Citerne, decided to appoint Sébastien Bazin as Chairman and CEO of Accor.To take on this new role, Sébastien Bazin has ended all his duties at Colony Capital, which he had been heading since 1997.Philippe Citerne has been appointed as Vice-Chairman of Accor’s Board of Directors.
