Vienna International Hotelmanagement AG (VI) once again organised a spectacular party at the andel’s Hotel Berlin on the eve of the ITB tourism trade fair. More than 1,000 guests followed the invitation to the 4th ITB party of Austria’s largest hotel company abroad. The event was a hit with guests and organisers alike.
This year’s pre-ITB customer event of Vienna International Hotels & Resorts, held under the motto “New Horizons”, helped to convey the philosophy of the hotel group: to use its own strengths as a solid parent brand and competent hotel manager in order to promote and grow the already established for the long term. Andreas Karsten, CEO of VI, was also looking to the horizon yesterday during his speech: “With this party, we want to thank our existing clients and partners on the one hand and emphasise the flexibility of VI on the other. Vienna International plans to go on and to grow for the long term with more hotels and city destinations.”
An Astrum Lounge was set up to introduce the Astrum Hotel near Moscow, scheduled for completion in the middle of 2013. On the culinary side, this included vodka and Russian specialities. But the culinary journey did not end in Moscow. Small food stations were set up all around the party area and the guests made a pilgrimage of sorts through all of Central Europe – and even into the future with delicious horizon expansions from the laboratory of molecular cuisine.
The guests were flattered not just culinarily, however; their eyes and ears were treated as well. “Living Flames”, a spectacular light and sound show performance was followed by the band JCB, a union of musical horizons from Germany and the United States, offering more evidence of VI’s taste for good funk and soul. And as no Berlin party is complete without a DJ, the DJ duo Heavenly Creatures kept the partygoers dancing all evening and all night long.
Ralph Alsdorf, General Manager of the andel’s Hotel Berlin, was thrilled with the party: “We gave our guests the traditional continuation of our legendary ITB parties of the previous years. And the location could not have been better chosen. After all, the andel’s Hotel Berlin is celebrating its third anniversary this March and can proudly look back on nearly 1.2 million satisfied hotel and overnight guests.”
This marked the 4th time that the andel’s Hotel celebrated the pre-ITB party since its opening on 1 March 2009. The event drew 1,000 guests from 15 countries, including tourism representatives, investors, partners and about 100 members of the press.
A very special ” Thank you” has to go to the staff of the evening: very busy, not so much room to serve, 1.000 guests with special wishes and the staff: very friendly, a great hospitality in mind – with one word: ” top and world class -Thank you !
