Berlin’s premier hotel “Hotel Adlon Kempinski” earns ‘3’ Seven Stars and Stripes awards! A first for Europe!
After several days of extensive reviews, the legendary Hotel Adlon Berlin earned last weekend the highest hospitality accolade worldwide! The Adlon is joining now the limited collection of ‘World Level Perfection’ hotels and resorts that are displaying proudly ‘all 7’ Seven Stars and Stripes likes the royal Emirates Palace of Abu Dhabi.
The “Hotel Adlon Esszimmer” restaurant with Chef de Cuisine Hendrik Otto earned the Seven Stars and Stripes ‘World Level Perfection – Society’ award (seven star level) and Adlon’s Quarre restaurant with Chef de Cuisine Sebastian Voelz the Seven Stars and Stripes ‘Society – Extrodinare’ award (six star level) award.
Thosten Buehrman, the president of Seven Stars and Stripes, was accompanied by his reviewer team and two of his distinguished advisory board members, three time Emmy-Award winning TV host and celebrity chef Walter Staib (A Taste of History), who carries the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundesverdienstkreuz) and Ingrid Lemme, host of the long standing American Dream Show, based in New York. Ms. Lemme and Mr. Staib both filmed on location. Ms. Lemme interviewed Adlon’s GM Oliver Eller, a Cornell graduate, who received the distinguished Seven Star and Stripes Special Recognition award for his determinations and tireless efforts of restoring one of Berlin’s most famous hotels to its former glory and raising the Adlon to a full 7-Star level hotel.
