The Centroamérica Travel Market closed with around 1,2 Millionen US-Dollar revenue
In a pressbriefing at the Tourism exhibition „Centroamérica Travel Market ( CATM) Solomon Shamah, Minister of Tourism Panama, said that between the middleamerica exhibitors and Touroperator from Europe, America and Asia during CATM 1,2 Million US Dollar revenue was signed.
The tourism to middleamerica has in the first six month of the year 2011 a plus of 4,7 percent.
413.664 visitors, which is a plus of 8,9 percent are from Europe ( in 2010 379.838 Europeans)

Roberto Kriete, chairman of Avianca-Tacs, Fabio Villegas, CEO of Avianca-Taca and José Napoleón Duarte, Minister of Tourism from El Salvador, signet this agreement in Panama.
This agreement gives the Organisation CATA ( Central America Tourism Agency) funds for the promotion for tourists from Europe to middleamerica. The agreement is for one year and Avianca-Taca paid 500.000 USD.
