Royal Spa Kitzbühel Hotel certified as a “Premium Special” provider for metabolic balance®, Monthly metabolic balance® weeks from April 2011
The 5-star Royal Spa Kitzbühel Hotel was certified as a “Premium Special” provider at the beginning of the year, making it one of four metabolic balance® hotels in Austria. From April 2011, the medically supervised, holistic metabolic programme will be offered every month as part of an 8- or 18-day package.
Since the autumn of 2010, guests of the 5-star Royal Spa Kitzbühel Hotel have had the opportunity to learn better ways of healthy living with metabolic balance®. The metabolic balance® programme focuses on a balanced nutrition and deliberately distances itself from conventional diets. A study published recently in the Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism confirms the metabolic programme as an effective weight loss method which positively influences both the clients’ health and their individual quality of life.
As part of the certification process, the hotel’s kitchen and service team were professionally trained in the metabolic balance® methods. The employees will introduce the guests to the metabolic balance® plan with cooking demonstrations and practical seminars as well as simple recipes and tips to try at home. Licensed physician Dr. Christiane Schwentner is in charge of all medical supervision and care at the hotel. Dr. Schwentner completed her medical studies in Innsbruck and Giesen. Since 1982, she has worked as a general practitioner with a focus on biological holistic medicine in Reith bei Kitzbühel. With her metabolic balance® training in 2009, she has expanded her fields of specialty, which include bioresonance therapy and oxygen therapy, by adding holistic nutritional consultation to the range of services offered. The further physical well-being of our clients is in the hands of the spa team of Tyrol’s only Leading Hotel of the World. The team treats guests to a pampering head massage that can be booked as a daily part of the package.
7 dates for 8 or 18 days
From April through November 2011, a total of seven dates for either 8 or 18 days are being offered during which the 5-star Royal Spa Kitzbühel Hotel will guide guests through the first two phases – the preparation phase and the strict adjustment phases – of the four phases of metabolic balance®. The dates are geared towards both first-timers as well as more experienced practitioners.
Under medical supervision, a fully balanced and individually tailored nutrition plan is developed based on the participant’s blood values and personal details. The idea is that people only feel well in their bodies when all body functions work together in harmony.
