Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is honoured to win Resort of The Year 2010 and Evason Ana Mandara Nha Trang won The Best Spa of the Year 2010 by Tourism Alliance Awards (TAA). Significantly, excellent performance of the two resorts in Nha Trang, Vietnam under Six Senses Resorts & Spas Group has been continuously noted. “Nine tourism and transportation service providers in Vietnam along with 18 companies in Laos and Cambodia have won the Tourism Alliance Awards 2010. The prizes were given during the sixth International Travel Expo in HCMC.
In the Vietnam category, HCMC, the biggest tourism center, was the biggest winner. The city has the Inbound Tour Operator of the Year, the Outbound Tour Operator of the Year, the Business Hotel of the Year, the Luxury Hotel of the Year, the Budget Hotel of the Year, and the Restaurant of the Year.
Both of the other Vietnamese winners were located in the coastal city of Nha Trang – Resort of the Year – Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bay and the Spa of the Year – Evason Ana Mandara” (Vietnam Net).
The ceremony of the Tourism Alliance Awards (TAA) was held at the Rex Hotel in conjunction with Vietnam Night. It was conceptualized to celebrate and recognize the brightest tourism stars in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. The aim of the Awards is to instill a greater sense of pride and achievement for tourism industry professionals and serves as due recognition for quality excellence within the tourism and hospitality industries in these 3 countries.
The Tourism Alliance Awards is co-organized by Cambodian Association of Travel Agents, Cambodia Hotel Association and Lao Association of Travel Agents and IIR Exhibitions. It is proudly supported by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia and Laos National Tourism Administration.
