The premier hotel in Hurghada, the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel, welcomed general managers of the various 5-star properties in the region for talks with HE Zoheir Garranah, the Egyptian Minister of Tourism.
The 5-star Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel invited for a General Managers’ Meeting on July 9th 2009, with the support of the Minister of Tourism, the Chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Authority and the Counsellor to the Minister. The 12 General Managers attending the meeting had the opportunity to discuss present issues they now faced in their industry, such as, for example, a shortage in qualified labour and procedures regarding the new hotel norms (“NN”), directly with the Minister and the Chairman. The meeting concluded on a highly positive note and with a group picture.
