With its new catalog „Trips for Experienced Connoisseurs“, Thomas Cook Travel, in cooperation with Tour Vital, has compiled a customized program for explorative vacationers of all ages who appreciate both, the competent tour guidance during their trips, and a high level of security. For groups coming from Germany, the 21 carefully planned round trips on 145 scheduled dates are further accompanied by a physician. This allows for the exploration of far-off regions and foreign cultures without worries.
One good example is the eleven-day trip to Japan, offered on three dates in the first quarter of 2009. Those who always wished to experience the amazing blossoming of the cherry trees in the land of the rising sun should take part in the tours from March 23 to April 2. The season of cherry blossoming is a highlight on the Japanese calendar. The whole country is submerged in rose and white. Even the mega cities of Tokyo and Osaka drown in a sea blossoms, since nearly half of all deciduous trees in Japanese cities are cherry trees.
The trip begins with a convenient non-stop Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Tokyo. After the extensive exploration of the Japanese capital, the group continues to the mountains of Fuji-Hakone National Park and on to „White Heron Castle“ in Himeji by means of the legendary high velocity train Shinkansen.
