The Tourism Multimedia-Award “The Golden City Gate” took place for the 16th time at the ITB Berlin. In this year´s edition, the award ceremony was presented at the Palais am Funkturm for the first time. More than 400 guests from the tourism industry, politics, society and art took part. International media reported about the ceremony all over the world. 121 candidates from 26 countries received the prizes in various categories. The Golden City Gate is organized with the support of ITB Berlin. Winner of the main category and thus the winner of the “Diamond Award” was the German airline Eurowings with the film “The Nörgler”.
The award winners were honored in a colorful event with music and dance performances:
