Hotel owners, developers, investors and operators are of the same mind: the Nordic countries enjoy a positive outlook for the future in terms of growth and profit potential . They also intend to actively develop and finance new projects in the coming years.
Even though the hotel industry in the Nordic capitals is small compared to other European capitals, it has been growing steadily in the past years. The hotel demand is stable and split evenly between domestic and international demand as well as business and leisure.
The TOPHOTELPROJECTS database currently holds information about 50 hotel projects in Scandinavia. Until the end of 2017 another 13 new hotels are about to enter the market adding a total of 3,700 rooms.
