The third edition of Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo 2016 held at Xi’an Qujiang International Conference and Exhibition Center had concluded with several new milestones.More than 600 international and local exhibitors participated in the show, spanning over 28,000 square metres. The tourism organisations of various provinces and cities occupied Hall B3, while the international and consumer exhibitors occupied Hall B4. The hot spring section debuted by occupying Hall A.
In total, 42 countries and 26 local provinces were represented at the show – the highest international representation since the exhibition’s inauguration in 2014.
The three-day exhibition also attracted 4,000 trade visitors and some 400 local and international hosted buyers. The promise of amazing travel deals also saw 56,000 public visitors flocking to the exhibition.

The hosted buyers and exhibitors held more than 4,500 rounds of collaborative business discussions, valued at 375 million yuan, a 25% year on year increase. The 10 major travel agencies grossed 13 million yuan in sales revenue, a 300% year-on-year increase.
