airberlin is launching three new long-haul destinations at its international hub in Dusseldorf in May.
From Friday, 6 May 2016, flight AB7392 will again depart from Dusseldorf to San Francisco at 1:20 pm. airberlin will connect the two cities initially three, and then five times a week from June. On Saturday, 7 May 2016, the inaugural flight from Dusseldorf to Boston will take to the skies. Flight AB7472 will depart from Dusseldorf at 1:50 pm and head for America’s East Coast every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and every Sunday from June.
From Saturday, 28 May 2016, airberlin will operate two flights a week to the trendy destination of Havana. Together with its three weekly flights to Varadero, airberlin will then offer flights to the popular holiday destination of Cuba every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

airberlin passengers can choose between Business and Economy Class on all long-haul flights. In Business Class, all 19 full-flat seats have direct aisle access and feature a 15-inch LED screen. An over 200-hour entertainment programme helps the time fly by. airberlin Economy Class has a total of 46 XL seats, offering 20 percent extra leg room. airberlin therefore has the largest seat pitch in the industry in Economy Class on transatlantic flights, according to the comparison site, Skytrax*. Here too, the comprehensive entertainment programme makes the flight go quicker.
