Senior corporate and agency event planners from leading organisations across North America and Europe have arrived in Frankfurt, Germany for a VIP hosted visit to IMEX 2016, ahead of the first ever Global Events Summit taking place in Scotland 21-23rd April. Organised by the International Special Events Society (ISES) in partnership with the IMEX Group and VisitScotland Business Events, the Global Events Summit will encompass three days of high-level debate on industry topics including; The Uber Economy, The Science of Events and The Risk Factor.
Among those attending IMEX and the Summit will be senior executives from AOO Events, Giants Enterprises, XPL, Aerospace Industry Association, Cerbelli Creative, George P Johnson, Calgary Stampede, Penton Media, Shaw Communications, Silhouette Group, Cvent, Viacom, Super Bowl, BC Innovation Council and Elias Events.

During the summit, delegates will visit Scotland’s historic capital Edinburgh, stay at the world famous 5 star Gleneagles Hotel & Resort, visit Edinburgh Castle and enjoy a gala dinner onboard the Royal Yacht Britannia, formerly the private yacht of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
