The Plaza Hotelgroup, which currently operates 23 hotels in three countries, is expanding significantly. The Yalaz family, founders of the group, headquartered in Heilbronn, Germany, intend to add four new Best Western hotels in Ruesselsheim, Raunheim, Bottrop, and Amsterdam with 580 rooms to grow to over 2,300 rooms under the Best Western banner. After these additions, at 19 Best Western hotels the Plaza Hotelgroup will be one of the biggest hotel operators within Best Western Hotels Central Europe GmbH.

Tourism is booming – 74 new top resorts in the pipeline. Tourism is booming worldwide – and especially in Thailand. The tourism revenue is growing in the Southeast Asian country annually by more than six percent. This attracts also new investments: According to TOPHOTELPROJECTS, the specialized service provider in the exchange of cutting-edge information between clients and contractors in the international hotel industry, currently 74 new hotels and resorts with a total of more than 15,200 rooms are in the pipeline for Thailand.

Annual figures released by Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) show Dubai attracted over 14.2 million overnight visitors in 2015, recording a strong 7.5% increase over 2014 – double the United Nations World Travel Organisation’s (UNWTO) projected 3-4% global travel growth for the same period.
