This year for its 15th jubilee the international tourism award for film, print, and multimedia „Das Goldene Stadttor“ „The Golden City Gate“ obtains a solid enhancement.
From 8-13 of march 2016 the Entertainment Award, a new presenter and the EMBA students will perform the long standing and approved award into a fresh summit of the 50th ITB.
Contributions for „Das Goldene Stadttor“ as per the Entertainment Award can be provided up to february 20, 2016. A top-class jury will evaluate both prizes. Each contribution is shown at the ITB Cinema in hall 3.1

For the 15th time the Tourism Multi Media Award will be organised by Wolfgang Jo Huschert. The evaluation by an expert jury in february 2016 in Düsseldorf covers all films, commercials, roadshows, adverts, flyers and catalogues from the tourism industry sent – find more at www.das-goldene-Stadttor.de or www.the-golden-city-gate.com. The Monday preceding the ITB all winners in each category are judged by a celeb-studded jury granting the „Diamond Award“ to the final winner. This VIP-jury is composed of politicians, embassies, ministers of tourism and personalities on tourism.

The ceremonious awards show will take place at the ITB Cinema in hall 3.1 on thursday the 10th of march 2016 at 4 p.m. Wolfgang Jo Huschert is proud to have won Tracie Frank Meier, niece of Quincy Jones, one of the world-famous music producers, for the jury at Düsseldorf and as host of the awards show „Das Goldene Stadttor“ at Berlin. Among others Quincy Jones has produced „We are the world“ for Michael Jackson as further songs for Lionel Richie and he is a manifold Grammy- and Oscar winner.

Entertainment Award for MICE Buyer
As the ITB increases their activities to business travels (MICE) there will be an Entertainment Award at the ITB Cinema this year for the first time. Artists and musicians are booked for any occasion such as festivity, conference or an incentive journey. During the whole fair artists will hourly prevail on the stage of the ITB-Cinema in hall 3.1 just to give an impression of modern entertainment to the ITB Berlin visiting buying agents. These artists will be reviewed by a jury, and the „Winner of the Day“ will be invited to show his or her proficiency to the expert jury

on saturday, 12th of march, 2016. That winner is selected by a VIP-jury under the presidency of the famous magician André Sarrasani. Within a great stage show framework the award ceremony starts at 3.30 p.m. (for further informations see www.kiliano-events.com/showaward)

For the film, print and multi media competition and under the guidance of Monique Richter, Lars Klostermann and Uwe Gerste conception and a trailer have been formulated and produced by students of the EMBA in Düsseldorf, which will be debut performanced at the ITB Berlin and will be shown at the website of The Golden City Gate.
