The film-, print- and multimedia competition takes place for the 15th time at the 50th ITB in Berlin. At the same time the competition is catching the tourism industry´s worldwide interest. The best touristic media-contributions will be honored in different categories which were assessed by an international jury on the basis of a point system.
A new category – the Entertainment Award: presented for the so-called MICE business (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) for hotels and destinations. All exhibitors and buyers (MICE-buyers) are invited to see selected cast members from the areas of bands, songs, acrobatics, shows, as well as the entire spectrum of the performing arts live on stage at the ITB Cinema in Hall 3.1 during the show days.
Every event in the world has entertainment: music, a clown or Magie – here at the showacts on the ITB Cinema you can see the artist very close and you can decide which act you would like to present at your events to your guests.
On Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 4pm, the awards ceremony will presented live on the stage of the ITB-Cinema as part of a great closing event. The finalists of the competition will be awarded in the different categories with the gold, silver and bronze award.

The Entertainment Award will be supported by the ZAV Berlin, China Tours, The Grande Centre Point Hotels Bangkok and the specialized online magazine Tourism-Insider.
The competition takes place in the ITB Cinema at the Berlin Exhibition fairground in Hall 3.1. Supporting the Golden City Gate for 15 years, ITB Berlin is ever since one of the main supporters.

Live Entertainment is:
Among others: artistic, cabaret, comedy, figure dance, mime, vaudeville, magic arts, circus, dance, song, musician, stuntmen, media arts, performance and much more.
Application:
We are looking for exceptional talents and entertainers. Applications can be submitted by anyone at the age of 16 onwards and via email until February 1, 2016. A jury of experts from the field of entertainment, tourism and media will select the show acts. They will get the chance to showcase their talent live on stage at the 50th ITB Berlin in front of the public audience and the professional jury. At the end, the VIP Jury will award a prize for the best act.
The winners can also win prizes from our partners like a trip to China or hotel stays in Thailand except.
Max. duration of the act: 6 min
Awards: Gold-, Silver- and Bronze-Award, as well as an audience-award
Technical requirements: Stage, light, sound, technicians, wardrobe and a place to warm up are provided by the organizer.
