After the undisputed success of the seven editions of FIEXPO LATIN AMERICA – the Latin American and Caribbean Meeting and Incentive Exhibition – the event has already positioned itself as the key business space for the continent’s meetings industry. The distinction granted by Mr. Martin Sirk, CEO of ICCA – the International Congress & Convention Association – designating FIEXPO as an “ICCA-Supported Show”, further confirms the feeling expressed by hundreds of exhibitors who, year after year, close important deals with Hosted Buyers and Trade Visitors that visit the event.
The organizers and exhibitors of FIEXPO LATIN AMERICA turned the show into a crucial tool for the generation of business for the region, by creating an atmosphere propitious for business and industry meetings and government and academic events.

To be especially highlighted are the meetings and presentations by various international associations, such as ICCA, COCAL (Latin American Federation of Congresses and Meetings Organizing Institutions), SITE, Association of Convention Bureaus in Latin America, to name a few.
Participants to the next edition of the show, scheduled for next year, will present new proposals and activities that complement the mainstay of FIEXPO LATIN AMERICA, i.e., business meetings.
Regarding training, the organizers have invited top international speakers that will give keynote lectures, presenting a number of options applicable to Latin America and the Caribbean, and raising current issues that will be the basis for further discussions.
Hosted Buyers will be selected even more rigorously, to meet the expectations of exhibitors. Their markets should include major emission regions, and they should represent the continent’s professional associations whose meetings rotate annually, and who need to have their venues confirmed two or three years in advance.
The organizers are already receiving booking requests for booths and pavilions from new countries that plan to join FIEXPO LATIN AMERICA next year, further confirming this fair as the ideal platform for promoting destinations on the continent to host international events.

Two prizes are going to be awarded in the afternoon of the last day of the show, before the official closing on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. One of them is the Prize for the Best Booth, chosen on the basis of design and innovation, and the other will be the Green Booth Prize, which will consider the materials used, choosing the most environmentally sound booth.
Next year, too, there will be a call for interest to host the 2017/2019 FIEXPO LATIN AMERICA. Those interested in applying to be candidates should submit their official application, attaching the relevant information about the exhibition center proposed, the hotel capacity, category of their facilities, infrastructure available and suggested services.
After the appropriate assessments, the organizers will release the list of pre-qualified applicants. Accepted candidates will be sent the standards and requirements needed to be granted the event, including the minimum specifications for the different proposals.
The final decision will be announced in the course of the third quarter of 2015, to enable the designated host to plan the official launching at the closure of the last FIEXPO LATIN AMERICA in Lima, Peru, in June 2016.
Another great highlight will be the organization of the Latin American Political Forum on Meetings Tourism, an event that will gather Tourism Ministers, Secretaries, Directors and senior officials of the participating countries for the second year in a row. Proposals are presented and debated in a forum for the exchange of ideas and projects that culminate in the projection and promotion of destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean as a regular venue for international conferences and events. The call is then for Monday 1st of June 2015.
The next edition of FIEXPO LATIN AMERICA will be held in Lima, Peru, from 1-3 June 2015.
