Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) and Thai Airways Announce the Winning Team for Dream Meeting Campaign
From August to September 2014, MICE professionals, business travelers, and the general public from around the world were invited to participate in an online interactive activity, Dream Meeting Campaign, hosted by TCEB and Thai Airways. This campaign was launched on www.BusinessEventsThailand.com, where participants could upload pictures of themselves and their friends (5 in total) onto Thailand’s inspiring meeting themes and then share it publicly on Facebook.
The picture with the most “Likes” and “Shares” will win this campaign. The campaign went viral on social media and received great responses from hundreds of teams, each striving for their Dream Meeting to come true, gaining more than 1.5 million online impressions over the campaign period.
TCEB and Thai Airways finally announced the winning team of the contest, Soni Shashi and her friends from Mumbai, India. Their photo, inspired by the History & Culture theme, was the most popular photo online throughout the campaign. Congratulations to them! They will be awarded with a free trip to Thailand which consists of exclusive round-trip air-tickets sponsored by Thai Airways and complete full-board accommodation with a package tour for 3 days and 2 nights at Doi Tung Development Project, Mae Fah Luang Foundation in Chiang Rai. They will experience the beautiful scenery, culture, and lifestyle of the local people, where their dream meeting is not just a dream any more.
