Tree planting, beach cleaning, alms giving, turtle care – these are some of the 20 Merits Making activities organised by Banyan Tree Phuket and Angsana Laguna Phuket this September. The charity marathon is a part of a ‘Give Back to the Community’ programme by Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts as a countdown to its 20th Anniversary on 26th September 2014.
During the month of September, “20 Merits Making” will encourage guests, visitors and associates to participate in twenty different charitable activities on a daily basis including public areas cleaning at local temples, feeding disabled students and the Laguna Phuket initiative, Fully Booked Program – a new mobile learning centre for schoolchildren.
The month-long event will conclude on the morning of 25th September where guests and associates will be invited to join the Banyan Tree Anniversary Merit Making Ceremony and Parade. Please join us and be a part of a community that cares for the community.
