SkyBlueBerlin offers unique city round trips in magnificent, classic convertibles – including chauffeur. The sky does not always need to be clear blue to enjoy the sightseeing tours through Berlin and surroundings in the eye-catching, veteran convertibles. “But the trips are particularly enjoyable with blue sky and white, fleecy clouds in the Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Cabriolet, built in 1969, or in the 1979 VW Käfer 1303 Cabriolet”, says an enthusiastic Kerstin-Viktoria Flöge, the owner and founder of SkyBlueBerlin. Her company is the only one which offers “Berlin round trips in an open-top car with chauffeur.”
Born in Lower Saxony, she has so far conceived three exciting routes of between three and six hours through Berlin and surroundings – more will be added. Maximum four guests experience – besides many fascinating sights and a driving sensation with a “search factor” – a lot of entertaining stories and useful information in German or English. “I love Berlin and have intensively familiarized myself with its historical development, its architecture and its curiosities”, reports the spirited 50 year old. She would now like to share this knowledge with domestic and foreign visitors to her adopted city.
The current “warming-up season” has already begun successfully for SkyBlueBerlin: “I really enjoy being present in the townscape and of seeing Berlin together with guests from all over the world from this unique perspective”, enthuses Flöge. Besides providing an answer to almost every question, she offers her quests suitable equipment for the outing: chilled refreshing towels, beverages and sun lotion in hot weather or seat heating and warm blankets should the weather be cooler. Depending on the vehicle, length of the tour and number of passengers, the trip costs from EUR 90 per person.
