Chinese racer Ma Qinghua, the latest rising star in the auto racing scene, visited the Transformers 30th Anniversary Expo at The Venetian® Macao’s Cotai Expo Friday afternoon, just before attending a press conference at the integrated resort where The Venetian Macao announced its sponsorship of Ma to race in the 2014 FIA WTCC (World Touring Car Championship) in Beijing Oct. 4-5, Shanghai Oct. 11-12, and lastly in Macao at the 61st Macau Grand Prix Nov. 14-16 this year.
Co-organised by The Venetian Macao and FM Event, and supported by the Macau Government Tourist Office, the
Transformers 30th Anniversary Expo showcases over a thousand Transformers toys and fan collectibles from different eras, multiple giant Transformers statues including seven-metre-tall likenesses of the Autobot leader Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, as well as the world debut of two-metre-high 3-D Transformers holograms.
