Situated in the heart of Asia, Taiwan plays a key role and provides a platform to link Asia with the European MICE market. To showcase Taiwan’s natural and cultural beauty as a destination for incentive travel and meeting, Taiwan Tourism Bureau once again organized a strong MICE team to participate in IMEX this year with exhibitors including Taiwan Convention & Exhibition Association, Taiwan’s MICE Industry Pilot Program (MEET TAIWAN), GIS Group, Taiwanlook Co., K&A International Co., Ltd, Howard Hotel, My Taiwan Tour Travel Service, and Kaohsiung Exhibition Center Corporation.
Taiwan booth boosted great business networking during the 3-day show, attracting more than 120 buyers, including PSA hosted buyers, group visitors, associations and press. In the course of business talks and networking, many
buyers indicated that they intended to bring more groups in Taiwan, focusing on either incentive or conference. Moreover, during the reception held on site, Taiwan delegates mingled with buyers while enjoying Taiwan fortune telling and paper art. Many buyers expressed their strong desire to understand more about Taiwan’s government support programs, and some applications even sent over right after the show.
Intending to share multi-culture of Taiwanese art with visitors all over the world to experience Taiwan fortune telling and paper art, the famous fortune teller Ms. Kathy Chen, invited from Taipei Lungshan Temple and paper artist Mr. Ho, sponsored by MEET TAIWAN, also brought a stream of visitors to Taiwan booth for experiencing thriving art of Taiwanese culture.
Taiwan Tourism Bureau highly expects to bring more incoming incentive groups and international meetings to Taiwan in the future. Taiwan, with hospitality, generosity, beautiful sceneries, convenient transportation systems and well-functioned MICE facilities, is definitely the best meeting place one can’t miss.
