…changes needed: said the Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou. The Daily News Egypt published yesterday a very interesting statement from the Minister about the Egypt Tourism. It seems to many experts in the world that the Minister has received a ” wake up call”! In all the month before he always told the world:” Nothing happend in my country. The problems are coming from the foreigner!” Now he changed ! Now his own staff is to old – he said ?! We think he should not forget his own age!
Egypt’s tourism, a main source of income, has suffered dramatically since the ouster of Hosni Mubarak in 2011 due to political instability.
Egyptian Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou said that the tourism sector is completely collapsed, adding that he plans to make great changes in management to improve conditions.
Zaazou told the state news agency that he is looking into legislative amendments to resolve the problems that the sector is suffering from.

Zaazou added that the ministry will soon be hiring a new staff that includes younger people to revive the sector.
He added that the government also plans to work with the foreign ministry to launch offices abroad to promote tourism in Egypt.

We think it is late – but not to late – as always and in every crisis the problems begin to smell at the top!
The Egypt Tourism needs a very powerful ministry with a new head and a complete new staff – not only in Egypt also in the Egypt – Tourism Offices in foreign countries including the changes of support agencies like for PR and Marketing. The Tourism in Egypt needs a free start in a clean and better future and all the peoples which are supported the wrong way in the last months need to be changed for a free way !
