ITE & MICE 2014 HONG KONG
Online survey at the end of 2013 on our MICE. corporate visitors found respectively 69% source for hotel accommodation, 51% for meeting. event venue and 67% airline. transportation in ITE MICE. 39% reported their organizations plan outbound incentive trips in coming financial year, and preferred destinations are respectively China at 33%, SE Asia at 29%, Taiwan at 20%, N Asia at 19%, Macau at 15%, Europe at 8%, the Americas and Oceania each at 5%.
More of these visitors are from large organizations with 29% having over 250 people and 21% with 51 to 250 people. The last ITE & MICE was attended by 2375 corporate / MICE visitors and 6055 travel agents. Respectively 72% and 20% of the total 12000 buyers and trade visitors are from Hong Kong and mainland China particularly Guangdong.
The coming ITE & MICE, a co-location of ITE MICE and ITE, will be held from June 12 to 15, 2014 at Halls 1A to 1E in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, with the first two being trade days and the last two open also to the public which last year drew over 73,000 visitors.
A series of seminars particularly for corporate / MICE visitors are being held in trade days, which will again include Executive Forum by the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and trade seminar by the Wedding Management Association etc. In fact, the second trade day is designated as MICE / Corporate Travel Day. A Hotel Zone highlighting Meeting Packages will be set up close to the MICE Info Stand in the coming ITE MICE.
Organized by TKS Exhibition Services Ltd, ITE & MICE is supported by China National Tourism Administration, tourism authorities and associations in Hong Kong and Macau. Over 100 of its 680 international exhibitors in ITE & MICE 2013, which came from 46 countries and regions, target MICE / corporate travel.
