Participation in EMITT increases every year, new countries take their place, medical tourism and winter tourism become a brand with EMITT Fair. Aiming to raise the bar in Turkey’s medical tourism and winter tourism, 2014 EMITT Fair brings in something new by allocating two large halls to the industry professionals for medical tourism and winter tourism in addition to existing halls.
EMITT East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition which will be held for 18th time in TÜYAP between January 30 – February 2, 2014 comes along with new countries and giant innovations again this year. New countries are taking their places in EMITT Fair which bears all the colors of the world with up to 70 countries. While Nepal, Mauritius, Cambodia, Crotia and Mongolia catch attention among the new countries, Greece participates in EMITT Fair under a single roof for the first time.

Healthcare industry becomes a brand with EMITT
Aydın mentioned that they allocated the entire hall of 2.000 square meters to healthcare, aesthetics, thermal and SPA tourism in cooperation with project consultant Ergun Güvenç by breaking grounds in 2014 EMITT Fair and aimed to raise the bar in medical tourism which embodies a huge potential in order to support the tourism diversity of Turkey and make use of requests for colloborations.
Aydın emphasizes that the enterprises in the field of health particularly the leading hospitals and clinics of Turkey as well as thermal hotels and SPA hotels will have the chance to speak directly to more than 900 travel agency managers and more than 200 buyers operating in the field of medical tourism thanks to this number one tourism fair of the region and 5th biggest tourism fair of the world.
Winter vacationists will discover Turkey
Stating that they allocated an entire hall to winter tourism, Aydın said the countries that are assertive in the field of winter tourism like Austria, Bulgaria and leading winter tourism centers and facilities of Turkey will appear in the same hall and meet the industry professionals from 70 countries of the world.
Aydın underlined that 2014 EMITT fair offers a huge opportunity for Turkey in order to promote the winter tourism centers and facilities that started with Bursa Uludağ and developed quickly with Bolu, Erzurum, Erzincan, Isparta, Kayseri, Kastamonu, Antalya, Bitlis, İzmir, Ağrı, Kocaeli, Bingöl, Gümüşhane and Kars. EMITT Exhibition: EMITT Exhibition was first held in year 1997 at Istanbul TÜYAP Tepebaşı Fair Center with the name Voyager – International Tourism and Holiday Exhibition.
