NH HOTELES’ OPERATING FIGURES CONFIRMS THIRD-QUARTER TURNAROUND. The improved momentum announced in July has gathered pace during the third quarter, with all business units posting growth in revenue per available room (RevPAR)
The measures taken to streamline the organisation are tangible in the decline in costs, all the more significant in light of volume growth and the effort to absorb inflationary pressure. Like-for-like EBITDA in the recurring hotel business registered year-on-year growth of 7.4% in 3Q13. AZIMUT Hotels has set a date for completing the renovation of the tallest building in the Russian Arctic—the 19-storey Hotel Arctica and business centre. According to current plans it will be open for business in the second quarter of 2014. The renovation has transformed the building into the multi-functional Arctica hotel and business complex which includes a hotel (the AZIMUT Hotel Murmansk), a business centre, restaurants and apartments.
