Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts, the joint venture hotel management company established between Thailand-based Dusit International and China-based Changzhou Qiao Yu Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Lim Boon Kwee as President of the newly formed company. In this role, he will manage the Dusit Fudu corporate office and oversee operations supporting the company’s aggressive China expansion plans.
Mr Lim, a Singaporean, is a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry. He has accumulated a wealth of experience spanning more than 30 years in the field, managing luxury hotels in both the United States and Asia.
Prior to joining Dusit Fudu, Mr Lim was the Senior Vice President – Asia for Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, responsible for all hotels in Asia as well as the company’s corporate offices in Singapore. During his tenure, Mr Lim was instrumental in the opening of a number of luxury hotels throughout Greater China and Singapore.
Mr. Lim holds an MBA from the Nanyang Business School at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and is also an honours graduate of the Hotel and Restaurant Management course from the University of Denver – Colorado, USA.
