Laguna Hospitality and Dusit International announce the signing of a joint venture agreement with the intention of bringing a Dusit Thani urban resort to Singapore. Plans for the new deluxe Dusit Thani golf resort hotel include some 200 guestrooms, four dining and entertainment outlets, meetings & events spaces and recreational facilities including swimming pools, gym and a spa.Located within the grounds of the 36-hole Laguna National Golf and Country Club, it will be one of the first resorts with direct access to a golf club in Singapore.

Only five minutes from Changi International Airport and approximately 20 minutes from the Central Business District, its proximity to Singapore Expo and Changi Business Park positions the hotel as a city resort. It is expected to attract a balance of corporate/MICE and leisure travellers as well as current patrons of the Laguna National membership base.
The Laguna National Golf and Country Club is operated by Laguna Hospitality, a subsidiary of Group Exklusiv Pte. Ltd., owned by Singaporean Mr Peter Kwee. Dusit International, led by Mr Chanin Donavanik, is a Bangkok-based Asian hospitality group with a growing portfolio of international hotels.

The project, slated to open at the end of 2015, is contingent upon relevant government approvals and licensing.
