Summer swimming season in Ada Ciganlija is officially opened. The second year in a row, Ada Ciganlija have received the prestigious international “Blue Flag” recognition for the quality of the Sava Lake beach. With this recognition, Ada Ciganlija is once again put on the list of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
On the occasion of a sumer season opening, free programs were announced, as well as and many other activities that will mark this summer season on Ada.
In recent years, Ada has become one of the most beautiful and most visited resorts in Belgrade. Ada is located on the Sava River, just 4 km from the city center. Dotted with clearings, meadows and dense deciduous forest, and surrounded with more than 7 km of gravel beaches, lake is perfect for all kinds of recreation and sport, and have been held several national and international championships.

Over 50 sports fields, include a golf course, soccer, tennis, handball, volleyball and basketball courts, and playgrounds for baseball, football and hockey. There are also courts for volleyball and aqua soccer, as well as the water ski. From extreme sports Ada Ciganlia offers bungee jumping, rock climbing and paintball. Visitors can also enjoy shops, picnic areas, bowling, mini-golf, horse-drawn carriages, a tourist train, pedal boats and canoes for sailing on the lake, as well as eco-friendly boat electrical power.
