Dear friends, I invite you to take part in the International Ecological Tourism Forum on the baikal lake, which will be held 11-13 July 2013 in the framework of the Year of Tourism in the Republic of Buryatia.

The forum is held by the Government of the Republic of Buryatia and the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and Global Environment Fund in honor of the 20th anniversary Ecotourism Development Plan in the Region of Lake Baykal. these two decades of Buryatia, where there are 60% of the shoreline, significant progress in implementing key provisions of the Plan. Here are actively developing ethno-ecological tradition, designed to preserve and protect natural and cultural heritage of the region. The forum will attract the attention of scientists and international experts, tour operators, environmentalists, investors and journalists to the development of ecotourism in Baykale.The participants can share experiences and engage in constructive dialogue on environmental resorts, development and implementation of standards for eco-tourism, alternative energy sources and innovative technologies, environmental education and eco-power.
